Catherine Mossop will be the guest speaker at the 13th Nurse Recruitment & Retention Conference and will be presenting "Effective Preceptorship and Mentoring to Build Loyalty, Decrease Turnover & Raise Productivity". This presentation will discuss how effective programs for nursing staff not only contribute to individual development but also to increased organizational effectiveness. Fall & Winter 2008

Prague, Czech Republic - December 4 - 6, 2008

The 15th Annual European Mentorinng & Coaching Council (EMCC) Conference will take place in Prague this winter, and Sage Mentors will be presenting  “Taxi Driver or Engineer; Integrating Foreign Trained Professionals into the Canadian Workplace through Mentoring”, which describes our award-winning program design for The Mentoring Partnership, an initiative of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).

Toronto- June 24, 2008

The Ontario Hospital Association Conference "Implementing your Talent Management Strategy in Today's Health Care Environment" brings experts forward to assist leaders to recognize and implement effective talent management processes within their organizations, and to assist in the growth and development of strategies to enhance the skills of their employees. Catherine Mossop of Sage Mentors Inc. presented a workshop on Coaching/Mentoring from 10:45 - 11:30 am at the Toronto Marriot Eaton Centre.

 

Toronto- June 18 - 20, 2008

The 4th Annual Women & Leadership Summit features key insights gained by top-ranking women executives, some of whom are heralded as some of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network. Catherine Mossop, President of Sage Mentors Inc. was a featured panelist on The Power of Mentoring Partnerships, alongside Lisa Zangari of Kinross Gold Corp., Katherine Rethy formerly of Falconbridge and Glain Roberts-McCabe of The Executive Roundtable Inc. She also presented Mentoring in Leadership Development. 

 

Las Vegas, Nevada - April 23-25, 2008

The International Mentoring Association celebrates their 21st Annual Conference at the Tuscany Suites & Casino, and Sage Mentors was asked to participate. This years conference is Reaching Higher: Developing and Sustaining Human Potential through Mentoring and Coaching.

We delivered sessions on the following topics:

    • Return on Investment in Mentoring Programs - Myth or Reality
    • Panelist: Talk Show Format: A Pathway for Human Development
    • Trust Development in Mentoring Relationships
    • Taxi Driver or Engineer: Integrating Foreign Trained Professionals into the Canadian Workforce Through Mentoring

Fall & Winter 2007

Toronto/Scarborough - Goldhawk LIVE - Thursday, November 22, 2007:

Catherine Mossop of Sage Mentors Inc. was asked to sit on the panel to discuss and seek solutions to "The Boss from Hell". Listeners of this program are asked to call-in, LIVE at 9pm, exclusively on Rogers Television, only on Rogers Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.

Dale Goldhawk is a veteran journalist in Canadian newspapers, radio and television. As host of Goldhawk LIVE he has won an IMPRESSION Award for Best On-Air Personality in the Rogers Network.  Goldhawk LIVE  welcomes local politicians, business leaders and concerned citizens to discuss the problems and seek solutions.
